KOF-K investigates each ingredient that goes into every nutritional supplement that we produce in our state-of-the-art facility. Using its kosher-certified database – one of the largest in the world – KOF-K then tracks each ingredient to its natural source and origin.
For Bluebonnet, KOF-K ensures that our kosher standards for ingredients, equipment, and packaging have not been altered or compromised.
While on site, a Rabbi checks the ingredients in the plant to make sure they correspond with the ingredient list supplied by Bluebonnet and approved by KOF-K. Then the Rabbi inspects equipment to confirm its kosher status and ensure that kosher-certified ingredients and machinery do not come into contact with non-kosher items. A Rabbi also examines packaging to verify that any kosher-certified dietary supplements are labeled correctly and that labels carrying the KOF-K emblem are utilized exclusively for kosher-certified products.
