Job Description:

Bluebonnet Nutrition, the most respected and awarded full-line manufacturer of Dietary Supplements in the industry, has an Outside Sales opportunity for a High Caliber Sales Professional.
This sales territory, based in the Los Angeles metro area, extends between Torrance in the south to Paso Robles/Cambria in the north. The metro areas of Las Vegas, NV., and St. George, UT., are included.

Responsibilities:
- Growth & Expansion with all present and future retail partners by:
- Identifying and opening new health food and wellness retail accounts.
- Increase sales of existing products in all accounts through staff trainings and seminars.
- Increase the breadth of products in all accounts through New SKU / New Item presentation and sales skills.
- Creating customized promotional programs for retailer partners.
- Participation in demo fairs, and limited trade show(s).
Qualifications:
- Candidates must be highly disciplined self-starters and possess a high degree of sales aptitude and ability.
- Excellent face-to-face and email communication skills with strong interpersonal traits.
- Minimum of 5+ years of proven and successful outside sales experience, with preference in the Natural Products Industry.
- Ability for Periodic yet Consistent overnight travel in the territory.

TechnicalSpecialist – Label Development & Customer Support

We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Specialist to support the label development and provide technical expertise to our customer service team, and partners.
Position Summary
The Technical Specialist will play a key role in ensuring label compliance and accuracy while serving as a technical resource for product-related inquiries. This position bridges regulatory, quality, and customer service functions to ensure our products meet the FDA and industry standards and that customers receive accurate, science based information.
Key Responsibilities
Label Development & Compliance
- Develop and review supplement labels to ensure compliance with FDA, FTC, and applicable state regulations
- Create and verify Supplement Facts panels
- Review ingredient statements, claims, and marketing language for regulatory compliance
- Coordinate label approvals with internal teams and external vendors
- Maintain label documentation and revision control
- Monitor regulatory updates affecting labeling requirements
Technical Customer Support
- Respond to technical product inquiries from customers, retailers, and distributors
- Provide accurate information regarding ingredients, formulations, usage, safety, and compliance
- Support customer service team with escalated technical questions
- Assist in drafting FAQs, technical documents, and product education materials
- Investigate and document product complaints when necessary
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, Biology, Regulatory Affairs, or related field
- 0-2 years of experience in dietary supplements, food manufacturing, or related industry
- Strong knowledge of FDA dietary supplement labeling regulations (21 CFR 101, DSHEA)
- Experience creating or reviewing Supplement Facts panels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Preferred:
- Familiarity with cGMP requirements (21 CFR Part 111)
- Experience in customer-facing technical support
- Knowledge of structure/function claims and substantiation requirements
